About Us

Health and Safety Ireland is owned and managed by Frances Brophy, a native of Lovely Laois but who has made Kilkenny her home for the past number of years.

I have worked in the construction industry in a health and safety capacity since 2000, having started out with Laois County Council on the M7/M8 Motorway scheme.

I completed my Training many years ago with IPBA, Irish Public Bodies Association and over the years have added to my qualifications by becoming IOSH Accredited and adding Train the Trainer, Manual Handling Instructor, Working at Heights Instructor, Harness Inspector, COVID 19 Compliance Training, Mental Health and Well Being in Construction, Bullying and Harassment in the Workplace and any other safety training needs businesses might have.
